America Remembers Civil War Sesquicentennial Tribute 1851 Navy Revolver HONORING THE 150th ANNIVERSARY OF THE WAR BETWEEN THE STATES Black Powder Cased Set
The Fight That Forged a Nation. The War Between the States is long over, but the years of conflict that divided a nation will never be forgotten. As our country marks the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, there has never been a better time to remember. For the Civil War Sesquicentennial Tribute, we selected the renowned 1851 Navy Revolver. One of the most popular sidearms of its day, the legendary Colt 1851 was coveted equally by Northern and Southern soldiers. Time and again, Samuel Colt’s masterpiece proved itself in battle and earned its rightful place as a true American icon. There was little debate when it came to selecting this model as the perfect handgun to commemorate one of the most defining events in American history. With its 7½-inch octagonal barrel and sleek frame, the Model 1851 Navy remains one of the most sought after and beloved firearms of all time. Each Civil War firearm available in the edition is a meticulously-detailed recreation of the legendary Colt 1851 Navy Revolver. The right side of the barrel of this Civil War firearm features a famous phrase used by Abraham Lincoln during an 1858 speech “A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand.” Lincoln borrowed this axiom from the Bible as a warning about the mounting tensions between the Northern and Southern states. After his election to the presidency, Lincoln continued to cut through the differences that divided our nation and to remind us of what was necessary to restore and repair the broken union. Both sides of the 24-karat gold decorated frame feature a banner with the dates of the Civil War, “1861-1865.”The centerpiece of the Civil War firearm is the lavishly illustrated cylinder, featured in 24-karat gold and meticulously decorated with an epic scene depicting a clash between Union and Confederate soldiers. From flags to uniforms to facial expressions, no detail has been overlooked in this breathtaking scene, reminiscent of the carnage during the Battle of Antietam. The September 17, 1862 showdown between the Northern forces of General George McClellan and the Southern soldiers under General Robert E. Lee was the bloodiest single-day battle of the war.

LeMat Cavalry 1856 .44-Cal./ 20 Gauge Black-Powder Revolver
The mid-1800s were a time in American history that gave birth to a number of innovative firearm designs, including this truly unique sidearm, also known as the "Grape Shot Revolver." Roughly 2,500 were produced. An accurate reproduction of the first model LeMat, this Cavalry version has a nine-shot, .44-cal. cylinder and a 20-gauge smooth-bore 6.75" round barrel made the LeMat a fearsome weapon to face. Accurate details like the swivel lanyard ring and trigger-guard spur duplicate those found on originals. The loading lever is mounted on the left side. Checkered walnut grips. This sidearm was developed in New Orleans in 1856 by Jean Alexander LeMat. He entered a partnership with P.G.T Beauregard (a major in the U.S. Army). When war broke out, LeMat received Confederate contracts for the production of 5,000 revolvers, and plans were laid to manufacture the gun abroad and then import them into the Confederacy, which lacked the necessary facilities to produce the weapon locally. Confederate gun runners were able to slip shipments of the gun through the Union naval blockade and it is estimated that about 2,500 made it into Confederate service. General Beauregard's personal engraved LeMat, which he carried throughout the war, is preserved at the Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond, VA. The distinguishing characteristic of LeMat's revolver is that its 9-shot .44 cylinder revolves around a separate central barrel of larger caliber than the chambers in the cylinder proper. The central barrel is smooth-bore and can function as a short-barreled .20 gauge shotgun (hence the name "Grape Shot Revolver") with the shooter selecting whether to fire from the cylinder or the smooth-bore barrel by flipping a lever on the end of the hammer. Flipping the lever up caused the movable striker to fall upon the primer set directly under the hammer, discharging the lower shotgun barrel. (The eyelet "lanyard ring" on the walnut handle base fits a lanyard and was to prevent the weapon from being snatched away during the heat of battle). I added the period accessories and had this fantastic walnut custom case made for it. A really unique addition to my collection.

David Pedersoli Howdah Hunter 20-Ga. Pistol Cased Set
NEW ITEM: With twin barrels packing a one-two wallop, this big-bore pistol was popular with Europeans exploring the vast jungles of India and Burma in the mid-1800s. On a typical excursion, explorers and soldiers were part of an elephant caravan. Riding on a howdah (the basket perched atop an elephant) may look safe in today’s world, but a century ago danger was imminent. Tigers could scale the side of a slow-moving elephant in the blink of an eye. To combat surprise attacks, the Howdah-style side-by-side pistol was created. Two cavernous 20-gauge smooth-bore barrels can be loaded with buckshot, a single slug, or the devastating "buck and ball"-load common in big-bore muzzle-loaders used on dangerous game. Squeeze one of the triggers, and you’ll appreciate the hand-conforming checkered walnut grip and the recoil-soaking end-cap counterweight. Its case-hardened lock-plates are engraved with detailed wild animal scenes. Optional items that I added: Solid walnut shoulder stock, 20 gauge round ball mold, period copper powder flask, period caps tin, 20 gauge round balls. The set is housed in a custom made walnut case. A fantastic addition to my collection!

Uberti Model 1847 Colt Walker .44 Caliber Black Powder Revolver Cased Set
Uberti Model 1847 Colt Walker .44-Caliber Revolver......The story of this single action black powder revolver began the same day that the Alamo fell in 1836. It also held the largest powder charge of any black-powder revolver. Only about 1,000 of the originals were produced, making the Walker one of the most sought-after firearms by collectors. Beretta 89 Gold Standard .22 Caliber Target Pistol
Beretta 89 Gold Standard .22 Caliber Target Pistol. These .22 target pistols where only in production for two years. They really never developed a following. Beretta produced this pistol to compete with the Smith & Wesson Model 41, but they never caught on. Believe it or not, they have really elevated in cost since they where discontinued. This one has a custom set of Randall Fung Grips. Since this was not one of the standard target pistols that Randall makes his grips for, he took the original factory grips and grafted a piece of walnut to them to create the custom set of grips that you see in the picture. They really keep the pistol tight and level. The 89 Gold is as new, in original box with all paper work and accessories issued with the pistol.

DeSantis: John Wayne 100th Birthday Anniversary Matched Pair Holster Rigs
To finish off My John Wayne 100th Birthday Anniversary set (See the pictures below), I was able to purchase a consecutive numbered pair of the DeSantis John Wayne Limited Edition 100th Birthday Holster Rigs. This was a special Limited Edition run of 3500 holster rigs to match the number of the Ruger John Wayne 100th Birthday Anniversary Blue Vaqueros that where made.( Pistols shown below.) I tried to get the matching serial numbers to my two guns, but the holsters where already promised to another gun manufacturing company who was also producing a John Wayne Commemorative Pistol. However, I was able to get an extremely low consecutive numbered pair. The Holster Rigs are numbered 145 and 146.. These holsters have never been removed from their shrink wrapped boxes.

When I got it home I discovered it was a 50th Anniversary Limited Edition. I added a Red/Green Dot Scope and took it to the range. What A Blast To Shoot! I had more fun at the range that day, then I have had in a long time. The pistol came in the original box with the carrying bag, paper work and manual. What can I say...After buying the first Ruger 10/22 Charger (shown above) that I have been enjoying so much, I had to purchase this one. This one was previously owned but never fired . Its the breakdown model with laminated stock that fits perfectly in the fitted Ruger Case. I was very surprised to find out the number of shooters that really enjoying shooting these neat little sem-automatic .22 pistols. Complete as shown with the Bi-Pod, 15 Round Magazine, Picatiny Rail, Case and Operating Manual. All housed in the original shipping carton. The price was right, so I brought it home. . I added a Red Dot Scope with Quick Disconnect Mounts. I plan on taking this one to the range, very shortly. I am sure this one will be as fun to shoot as the 50th Anniversary model that is shown above. Another gem that I was able to add to my collection!
Ruger Vintage Mark I Target Pistol 6.875-inch Barrel .22 Long Rifle
Here we have a very nice vintage Ruger Mark I Target Pistol that was manufacture in 1971 and is in excellent condition. It comes with two Factory Mags and operating manual. Introduced in 1950, the MK I Target model was basically the same as the Standard pistol, except that it boasted a 6.875-inch (17.46 cm) barrel, adjustable target style trigger, a “Micro” adjustable rear sight, and a front sight blade undercut to reduce glare. The Ruger Target MK pistols, like their Standard model brethren, underwent the A 100 grip frame redesign in 1971. I had one of these Mark 1 Rugers when I was a kid and loved it. Can't wait to get this one out to the range to see what I can do with it. This is really a very unique pistol that I was able to add to my collection.

Smith & Wesson: Performance Center Model 952 Single Action in 9MM
Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 952, Single Action Pistol. These pistols where produced by the Smith & Wesson's Performance Center as a tribute to the famous Smith & Wesson Model 52 Single Action, .38 Wad Cutter Target Pistol. The 952 is almost an exact duplicate of the 52, except it is a 9MM. The pistol comes with two magazines, all paper work and a deluxe Performance Center Case. Since I already own the three different variants of the Model 52 (Shown Below), it was only natural that I also own one of these Model 952's...Don't you agree?
Smith & Wesson: Model 52 .38 Wad Cutter Target Pistols (3) Different Variants
Smith & Wesson Model 52 .38 Wad Cutter Single Action Target Pistols are the best Factory Target Pistols, that were ever produced. This of course is my opinion, but I can assure you, that there are a lot of other shooters out there, that feel the same way that I do. There where three different variants produced. The Model 52 (No Number) First Variant, had a hair trigger and I mean a hair trigger. When the Second Variant was released, the Model 52-1, the trigger was re-worked with a more manageable trigger pull. The Model 52-2, was the last variant produced of the model 52's. I have the boxes, all paper work and accessories that where issued with all of these pistols. I prefer to shoot the First Variant, the 52 (No Number) with the hair trigger. It keeps you on your toes.....
Smith & Wesson: Model 19-3 .357 Magnum Tribute Pistol
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Tribute Pistol: This Model 19 was owned by my Best Friend of over 35 years. He passed away at the young age of 52 years old. The pistol was given to me by his family, to keep in my collection. I sent the pistol to S&W's Custom Shop. I told them to work their magic and left the re-build design, totally up to them. What you see is what the custom shop did for me. They put on their new Brushed Hard Chrome Finish, they jeweled the Target Hammer and Target Trigger. Re-Blued the Target Sights. They added a red insert into front sight blade, replaced all the internal springs, reset the timing and trigger pull. Lastly, they added these magnificent pair of factory walnut grips. A true piece of Firearm History for a Tribute to a Great Friend......
Smith & Wesson: Performance Center Model 625-7 .45 LC Revolver
Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 625 in .45 Long Colt. This pistol is really a work of art. The barrel is ported and there is virtually no muzzle jump. He makes these grips to fit the contour of your hand. They are fully adjustable. The pistol comes with the original Performance Center Aluminum Pistol Case, the original grips and all the paper work and accessories that where issued with the pistol. Smith & Wesson: Performance Center Model 629-CMH .44 Magnum Revolver
Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 629 in .44 Magnum...This is not your average Dirty Harry Special!... The smooth cylinder and ported compensator give this revolver a space gun look.
