FX Monsoon .22 Caliber, Semi-Automatic Air Rifle

Here is the flag ship piece of my Air Gun Collection. This Fantastic FX Monsoon is a blast to shoot. This 12 shot Semi-Automatic rifle is very, very accurate. The Rifle sports a Leapers 8-32 x 56 Swat Scope with side wheel. You can adjust this scope down to ten yards, for indoor shooting. The stock is an F/T Stock created by Paul Bishop, custom stock maker. The wood is a Very Rare piece of Chocolate Myrtle. The picture speaks for it self on this one...

FX Monsoon .177 Caliber, Semi-Automatic Air Rifle

This is my FX Monsoon in .177 Caliber. It has a 16 shot magazine, Leapers 8-32 x 56 Swat Scope with side wheel. This one has a custom made FT Stock by Ginb. The stock has an adjustable comb, adjustable forearm and fully adjustable butt plate. Ginb make stocks for most major brands of air rifles. They only offer two types of wood Sono Kembang and Teak Doreng. This one is made of Teak with Sono accent pieces. It shoots as good as it looks.

They are made from some very nice Turkish Walnut that has excellent grain and color. The rifle is also equipped with a Swift Premier 6-24 x 50 Scope and a factory mod.

Daystate Mark III .22 Caliber Bolt Action Rifle W Electronic Trigger

This Daystate Mark III is my favorite air rifle to shoot. Even though it is a bolt action rifle, it shoots like a semi-auto. The electronic trigger system is so smooth and quick, you can't believe it's a bolt action. The scope is a Swift Premier 3-9 x 40. The stock was made by Ginb of Indonesia. It's made from Teak with Sono Accents. It has an adjustable comb, forearm and fully adjustable butt plate. If you want a very accurate, fun to shoot rifle, then the Daystate Mark III, is for you.

Daystate X2 .22 Caliber Bolt Action Rifle

Daystate X2 .22 Caliber 10 Shot Bolt Action Rifle. Beautiful custom designed factory walnut stock with Gnib engraved trigger guard. Has a Viper Scope, three magazines and a factory case. Still trying to get use to the action on this one. It's bolt action is very tight. I was told It will loosen up with use, but I have been shooting the Mark III more often than this one. All in all it's a hard hitting, very, very accurate rifle!

ShinSung RWS Career 707 .20 Caliber Lever Action Rifle

This Carrer 707 is the first PCP air rifle that I ever owned. It's an 8 shot lever action and is smooth as butter. Has a Simmons pro air scope and the original rifle case from ShinSung. Here is the AT44W-10 PCP Air Rifle all decked out with a brand new 6-24 x 50 AOEG swat style scope with rubber eye piece, sun shade and lens cap. The rifle also sports a custom made moderator blued to match the rifle. This moderator makes the rifle whisper quiet. I just got it zeroed in and this is really fun to shoot. The side lever action is so smooth and very easy to operate. The regular bolt action Hatsan rifles are a lot tougher to operate. I really like this rifle!

Here is the AT-P2 shown with the shoulder stock attached and fully extended. I mounted a Tasco ProPoint Red Dot Scope on a pair of extra high 30mm rings, This little pistol/combo is a blast to shoot. Either with the red dot scope or the open fiber optic sights, you can't miss. The side lever cocking system works great, compared to there standard bolt action receiver.The .25 caliber pellets really hit with authority! Daisy Air Rifles

I started collecting Daisy Commemorative Air Rifles about 30 years ago. Here we have the list of my on going collection. These rifles are be coming much harder to find and the prices are really becoming elevated, especially the older ones. Daisy usually comes out with a new commemorative, each year, around Christmas time. If you are looking for an in-expensive gift for your son, daughter or grand children or you are just looking to start your on collection, this would be a great place to start. They usually are a limited run of 1,000 rifles. You should go to the Daisy Web Site to keep an eye out for them.

Daisy's First Advertising Poster Produced in 1895

While it wasn't sophisticated by modern standards, Daisy's first advertising poster produced in 1895 did tell the Daisy story at a glance (notice the Daisy flowers). The production of the poster exhausted Daisy's first annual advertising appropriation of $2,000. However, it was so successful that within a few years the annual advertising appropriation had been increased ten-fold to $20,000. Daisy was soon to become the predominant advertiser to Young America. This is number 130/1000 posters that where produced in a special limited issue run in 1998. This print measures 18" x 24" and really looks good, hanging on my wall....

The horrors of World War II brought about a considerable amount of anti-gun sentiment in this country that threatened to "...tar BB guns and toy guns with the same brush"......The American Bill of Rights, was written in 1947 by Cass S. Hough - a decorated pilot recently returned from the European theater of operations and, at the time, Executive Vice President of Daisy. It was the first "gun" in Daisy's answer to this challenge, and it quickly became a key part of Daisy's continuing advertising programs. Over 3,000,000 copies of this poster have been distributed since it's introduction more than 50 years ago. This is number 130/1000 posters that where produced in a special limited issue run in 1998. This print measures 18" x 24" and really looks good, hanging on my wall....

Daisy 1986 Model 25 Centennial Limited Edition Collector's Combo Sets
(A True Time Capsule!)

Daisy Limited Edition Model 25 Centennial Collector's Combo Time Capsule....

At a recent gun show, I ran across a gentleman that was selling a pair of the Model 25 Centennial Collector's Edition that was issued in 1986. I already have one of these rifles in my collection. Upon further inspection, I realized that each rifle had a Centennial Filled BB Ammo Box Attached to it, in a special Sleeve and then the Ammo Box was shrink wrapped to the end of each rifle box. So there where two separate combo sets.

There where 1000 Centennial Rifles made...I have never seen a Centennial Combo set offered for sale before!

The gentleman that I purchased these sets from, told me he found them in the bottom of a closet in his Grandfathers house that he was getting ready to put on the market.

The two sets where wrapped together, with clear tape and had A Walmart Layaway tag on it from 1986. Then they spent the next 31 years sitting in the bottom of a closet! The boxes where never separated and they where never opened!

I searched the Internet until I was blue in the face and having no luck at all finding any info on these two sets.

My last resort was to contact Daisy. I reached out to the Daisy Museum First and I was refereed to Joe C. Murfin who is the V.P. of Public Relations for The Daisy Outdoor Products in Rogers, Arkansas...

Joe is sort of the company historian for questions like this. He told me he was not aware of any type combo set. I sent him the photo's and he told me he would look into it and see what he can find out for me.

Joe had his secretary take the photos and show them to some of the Daisy Ex-Employees that worked on the packaging line in 1986. None of the employees had any knowledge of this combo packaging.

He told me he thinks that these might have been a proto-type package design for the Walmart Stores that never came about...

This is a true Mystery and a true Time Capsule.....Why would anyone purchase two of these sets on Layaway and then Never Open Them!!

If anyone has any information about these combo sets, I would surely appreciate any information that you can send my way....

It had no sights, but it did have safety glasses and a set of smaller target disks. The set also included 3 tubes of Daisy BB’s, a tube of Daisy oil, Instruction Manual and Daisy Quick Skill Book..

While working with the U.S. Army Training Command in 1967, Daisy developed the Model 2299 Quick Skill rifle. Its purpose was to develop instinctive shooting in soldiers by teaching them to point and shoot instead of careful aiming. Odd as it may seem, this system worked quite well in practice shooting. During practice, a metal disk would be thrown into the air. The shooter would quickly point the gun at the airborne target and shoot. Through repeated practice the shooter soon developed instinctive shooting skills.

This set was purchased Direct from Daisy in September of 1969. The original receipt is part of the paper work. This set is Brand New and has been setting inside the original Factory Shipping carton, since it was purchased in 1969.

I just acquired this set, which I found at a Garage Sale. I could not believe the condition of the set. The owner told me that it belonged to her father. She said she found it in a closet when they where cleaning out his house.

I am quite proud to add this fantastic piece of Daisy History, to my collection. It just goes to show you, that there are still treasures like this, out there, to be found!

Daisy Reproduction of thier 1st Air Rifle That Ever Made 'The WireStock'

Well my search is finally over. I have been searching for one of these rifles for several years now. This is the Daisy 2009 Reproduction of the first Daisy Air Rifle that was ever made. It is called the 'Wire-stock'. This one is number 794 of 1000 that where made. This one is new in the box with all the paper work and accessories that where issued with the rifle. They include the Certificate of Authenticity, Commemorative Medallion, Sample BB's Targets, additional paper work and the hang tag. I found a Wire-stock brass belt buckle from 1976 that I added to the package. It is quite a unique piece and I am very glade I was able to add to my collection!

Daisy Red Ryder Chief AJ Special Edition BB Rifle

Here is a Rifle that you don't see every day! The Chief AJ Special Edition Instinct Shooting BB Gun is a special version of the Daisy 1938 made by Daisy for Chief AJ (John "AJ" Huffer) to teach instinct shooting to children and adults. The gun is similar to a Daisy Red Ryder but has a longer stock and an aluminum cocking lever. It has an image of Chief AJ laser engraved in the stock, which was hand signed by Chief AJ. There were 1656 rifles produced By Daisy in 2005 and completely sold out in just a few weeks. This rifle also has a hand signed COA from Chief AJ, himself. This rifle came from a small collection of Daisy Rifles that I just purchased..

Daisy Model 25 Centennial Collectors Edition 1986

This is Daisy's 125th anniversary, limited edition gun which rivals the beauty of that classic. This Daisy Model 25 Pump Gun, produced for Daisy’s 125th anniversary, has a blued finish with a gold-tone-filled stamped design and a medallion inset into the American Walnut stock - which is laser engraved; serially numbered 0001 of 1000 to 1000 of 1000. Daisy 125th Anniversary Red Ryder BB Rifle Special Edition

Daisy Red Ryder 125th Anniversary BB Rifle. To celebrate Daisy’s 125th Anniversary, Daisy produced 1000 Special Model 25’s that came in a deluxe wood case. These rifles where offered to the general public on a first come basis, as shown above. On June 3rd and 4th of 2011 Daisy & The Rogers Daisy Airgun Museum hosted an event celebrating the 125th Anniversary of Daisy. In order to attend this event, you had to be pre-registered. Part of the event was that everyone that registered received a special Daisy Red Ryder 125th Anniversary BB Rifle, Dinner and A tour of the Museums. There where 325 people that registered! This rifle is one of the 325 that where made. This is a Very Rare Modern Day Collectible!

Daisy 130th Anniversary Red Ryder BB Rifle Special Edition

Daisy 130th Anniversary BB Rifle. On July 1 and July 2 of 2016 Daisy Celebrated their 130th Anniversary with a Special Social Event and a Super Swap Meet. The packaged included a Social Event on Friday night and the Swap meet on Saturday. Part of the registration package included this Special Edition 130th Anniversary Red Ryder BB Rifle. Oh yes, don't forget the fantastic box lunch that was served. The event was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Rogers, Arkansas. The other 130th Anniversary collectibles that are shown below, were available for sale at the event. This is sure to be a modern day collectible.

Daisy The First Red Ryder Tribute BB Gun 2019

When Fred Harman and Stephen Slesinger had first approached Daisy, they had proposed that Daisy make a pistol featuring the Red Ryder logo. Not having yet made a pistol, Daisy executive Bob Wesley sketched the Red Ryder lariat logo on a carbine and presented it to Slesinger and Harman. A licensing agreement between Daisy and Fred Harman, illustrator of Red Ryder comics, and Stephen Slesinger, Steven Slesingerr Inc.,, owner of the Red Ryder property (now Red Ryder Enterprises, Inc.) was signed October 6, 1939, just over 80 years ago. The first guns were produced in the spring of 1940.

In 2019, the Daisy Airgun Museum proudly accepted the donation of a very special No. 111, Model 40 Daisy Red Ryder BB gun which was a pre-production gun. It had been presented on April 2, 1940, to Fred Harman, by Daisy execs Cass Hough and Robert O. Wesley.

In exchange for the generous donation of this first model presentation gun, the Daisy Airgun Museum committed to produce 1,000 "Tribute" guns, with each stock laser-engraved with the same words which appeared on the first presentation gun: "ONE ONLY", "LIMITED EDITION", "CERTIFIED" and the signatures of Hough and Wesley. There was also a gold star affixed to the first gun and we have replicated that also.

The frame is a standard model 1938, with domestic wood, and the gun is assembled and packaged in Daisy's Rogers, Arkansas plant. Each gun's forearm has a unique number of issue...from 0003 of 1000 to 1000 of 1000. (The Daisy Museum retains guns 0001 and 0002.) The forearm band is copper plated with a natural patina. The thong is 16" long and knotted at the ends. The gun is packaged in a bubble wrap sleeve inside a custom red and black carton which tells the story of the first gun and of this Tribute Gun! Enclosed with each gun is a fact sheet which includes photos of the first gun and details its provenance. A 7" X 5" Certificate of Authenticity is also included stating that this gun is one of only 1,000 produced. The package is slipped into a single shipper box with the issue number on the end of the shipper.

This one is part of a small collection that I just purchase. It is still factory sealed, so I did not want to break the seal. In 2010 Daisy Manufacturing proudly introduces the 70th anniversary commemorative edition of the Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun. The Fred Harman artwork is engraved into the stock. The silver-tone medallion is inset neatly into the stock.It features a vintage image of a boy and his Red Ryder with the dates 1940 - 2010. The metal tone of the forearm band matches the medallion. Into the grip of the right side of the stock (adjacent to the Red Ryder logo), we have embedded the Daisy Museum’s 2020 medallion. The copy on the embossed medallion says, “80 year anniversary Daisy Red Ryder BB gun” and shows the stock of the first gun which was given to Fred Harman by Cass Hough and Robert O. Daisy Model 914 Range Rifle Single-Pump Pneumatic Gun

Wow!...Here is something that you don't see everyday. It's a Daisy Model 914 Single-Pump Pneumatic Range Rifle. Produced in the late 70's, these rifles are almost impossible to find. The rifle will shoot a single shot .177 pellet or load up it up with 4.5 mm BBs and start plinking away. Single pump and you are ready to go. This one is in mint condition with the original box, operators manual, additional paper work and the extremely rare hang tag. The magazine holds 300 BB's.

Daisy Powerline Model 22X Single Shot Pump Rifle

This is an early vintage Daisy Power-line Model 22X Multi-Pump Single Shot Rifle. It sports all metal receiver with full wood stocks. You don't find to many of these older 22x rifles in this condition. It gets 625 FPS with 10 pumps. Shooting Distance of 333 yards. Weighs in at 3.2 lbs. and the overall length is 37.75 inches with a barrel length of 20.8 inches. It has a cross bolt trigger block safety with red indicator. This one is as new in the original box with the all the paper work. This one is just a fun rifle to shoot and make an excellent addition to my collection.

Start shooting right with the Model 105 Buck BB rifle. Suitable for shooters 10 and older (with adult supervision), this lever-action spring rifle is lightweight, easy to cock and durable. On January 20, 2021, we erected the World's Largest Daisy BB Gun outside of our museum here in Rogers, Arkansas. Leaning up against the east exterior wall, on the Second Street side of our building, it sands 25-feet tall. We anticipate thousands of visitors to our museum and to this Northwest Arkansas area will come to take their photo with this huge sculpture. To commemorate the installation of this larger than life iconic Daisy BB Gun, we have created this special gun with the image of the World's Largest Daisy BB Gun leaning up against our building engraved in a distinctive diamond shape. After I have had a chance to get the scope zeroed in, I will let you know how I make out with it. I added a spare magazine that comes with two belts. The spare magazines are only 20 round magazines compared to the 30 Round mags that comes with the rifle. Don't know why they are only 20 rounds? The rifle really has some weight to it and looks and feels like the real Sig MCX. For the money, it is a well built rifle and a lot of fun to shoot!

Air Soft Rifles:

Recently I have become very interested in Air Soft Rifles both Spring Operated and Fully Electrical Operating rifles. The first air soft rifle that I purchased was a spring operated sniper rifle. I was not very impressed with it. It virtually had no power at all and I could not get it to shoot with any accuracy, what so ever. So I thought at the time I was just going to give up on Air Soft Rifles. But then I had an opportunity to purchase a full electric air soft rifle at a very good price. I am glade I did. Since then, I have purchased several of these rifles. What I like about them is that most of them are very realistic and are exact replicas of the real rifles. You can actually shoot them in semi-auto and full auto mode. Most of them are full metal construction with the look and feel of the real thing. That are truly a blast to shoot! I have my eye on a few more models. Once I aquire them, I will list them below. If you really want to have some inexpensive shooting fun, do your self a favor and pick up one of these rifles. I assure you, you won't be disappointed!

UTG S368 Accushot Shadow OPS Sniper 6MM AirSoft Rifle

This is the very first AirSoft rifle that I have added to my collection. I was never a fan of any type of AirSoft guns, but I thought I would give one a try. I purchased a UTG S368 Shadow Ops Sniper Spring Action Rifle (Refurb) because of its looks and the price. It has a one piece precision metal barrel, adjustable hop-up system, complete pica tinny mounting rail, adjustable cheek piece & butt stock, bipod, and cameo finish. It’s a bolt action spring rifle. I added a scope and gave it a try. I am very disappointed in its performance. The 6mm AirSoft pellets are all over the place. I could not get any kind of decent group to get the scope zeroed in. It virtually has no power at all. I doubt if I will adding any other AirSoft guns to my collection.

AEG Kalashnikov AK47 Full Auto Airsoft Rifle

I know that I commented above that I would never add another Air Soft rifle to my collection. I was wrong. If you want to have some real fun, then you need to get one of these. AEG Kalashnikov Full Auto. AK47 with a Tactical Folding Stock. Has steel gears, metal front section & bolt cover, folding vertical grip, nylon fiber folding stock, adjustable front and rear sights, high capacity magazine (holds 250 rounds of 6mm plastic bb's), Adjustable baxas accuracy system. I installed a Center Piont Tactical Red Dot/Greent Dot scope on, loaded up the magazine and turned it on. What a blast to shoot. Haven't zeroed in the scope as yet. But once it zeroed I am really going to have some.

Well here is another semi/fully automatic rifle that I have added to my collection. They are so realistic and have the weight and feel of the real thing. This one is the Steyr Mannlicher AUG A2. It weighs in at a hefty 8.5 pounds and comes with an all metal barrel and a metal accessory rail. It has a high cap magazine that holds 330 rounds. Full electric operation. This one fires at 600-700 BB's per minute at 430 FPS. I added a red dot scope to the accessory rail, loaded up the magazine and blasted away. What a really neat rifle to shoot! I hope to add several more of these replica rifles to my collection.

Here is the latest addition to my Collection.This one is the AMG Military M14 Rifle. If it didn't have the orange tip, you would swear it is the real thing!
